Warranty Information
For Granite:
To ensure your satisfaction with Tekon, we offer the following Limited Lifetime Warranties to the original purchaser as long as you own your home: the Tekon sealer is guaranteed not to flake, chip, or cause damage to the treated surface. If the treated surface gets stained, then Innovative Sealing Solutions, Inc. will come out and remove the stain and reseal the surface free of charge.
The protective sealing repellency will be maintained permanently as long as it is cleaned with Tekon's after-care products: Empowered Daily/Empowered Weekly. If it is determined that the treated surfaces were cleaned with other products as Windex, Lime Away, 409, Pinesol, Comet, Ajax, and others, the warranty will be rendered null and void. The customer must understand that using Tekon's after-care products is what rejuvenates the sealer with its usage, thereby giving it its Lifetime Warranty.
For Floors:
100% for 5 years, and then years 6-10 are prorated. Expected wear will vary depending upon the hardness and texture of the treated surface, and the composition
of the material. As some Calcites (Marble, Travertine, Limestone, plus Slate) breakdown, chip,
flake, crack, or lose fillers (epoxy, grout), Innovative Sealing Solutions, Inc. cannot guarantee staining caused by these variables. What needs to be understood by the customer, is that some of these softer stones will wear down from heavy traffic because of its composition. As it wears down, so goes the sealer. The sealer is meant to prevent staining, but will not prevent the wearing down of the material from usage.
This is why Innovative Sealing Solutions, Inc. can give a lifetime warranty to granite
(its hardness prevents the wearing down of the surface), but not to the Calcite materials or slate. Etching caused by acidic liquids from juice, alcohol, vinegar, sodas, or caustic chemicals are not covered under the warranty. The floor must also be cleaned with Tekon?s NU Floor after-care product to ensure a long lasting protective coating.
Calcites: Marble, Travertine, Limestone, and Slate

Glass
Glass will be guaranteed as granite to a Limited Lifetime Warranty to the original purchaser for as long as you own your home. To maintain your warranty, the owner must clean the glass with Tekon's Delta Cleaner which rejuvenates the sealer and adds an everlasting hydrophobic condition for your glass surfaces. Your glass will be insured against any hard water deposits or staining, or Innovative Sealing Solutions, Inc. will come out and remove the stains and reseal your glass free of charge.
Stainless Steel and other Metals:
Innovative Sealing Solutions, Inc. will guarantee any staining to your metal surfaces for a period of 5 years. All metal surfaces must be cleaned with Tekon's Delta Cleaner to maintain its warranty. Any other cleaners found to be used on the treated surfaces will render the warranty null and void. Tekon's sealers will not prevent caustic chemicals or acids from harming your metals. The treated surfaces will shine better than new, be cleaned easily with the Delta ( an environmentally safe and biodegradable cleaner), and prevent any staining from normal usage.

Tekon's lab department is currently developing an etch-proof sealer that will carry a lifetime guarantee. Soon to be released, this is the Ultimate in Sealers. Check back here for updates on this product's availability.
